Padron 2000 Robusto

by

Having filled my humidor with a healthy collection of fine cigars to last through the Derby festivities, I decided to check the inventory and see what I had left to smoke. It was a beautiful Sunday and a perfect day to sit on the deck and smoke a cigar.

To my surprise, I found a couple of Punches, a Cuban Montecristo given to me by a close friend and a Padron. I chose the Padron and what a perfect choice.

The Padron 2000 Robusto is affordable priced at about seven dollars and is going to be one of the best cigars that you can find in that price range. It burnt perfectly through the entire smoke and had a a very nice, easy and smooth draw.

The 2000 is a medium bodied cigar that is semi-pressed. The wrapper displays a very rough appearance, but don’t let this fool you. The smooth draw consistently delivers an earthy smoke with nutty flavors. The finish of the cigar delivered a wood flavor. This is an excellent cigar and lives true to all of its reviews.

Stop by Cox’s Smokers Outlet (Hubbards Lane) and buy a handful or a box.
