Magic Dinner & Bourbon
World traveled magician Richard E Darshwood and Rabbit Hole Distillery partnered with Bristol Bar and Grill for a social evening of fine dining, Kentucky bourbon and enchanting entertainment.
Richard has performed at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, and personally entertained prominent stars such as Martin Scorses, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Miranda Lambert. The grandson of a Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus clown and nephew to a grand stage illusionist, Richard claims to have been born to perform.
I don’t know whether to describe the evening as a gourmet dinner punctuated by outtakes from a world class magic act or a gourmet dinner paired with world class bourbon tastings with the courses divided by a Las Vegas style illusion act.
During the dining experience, there were special cocktails from Rabbit Hole Distillery and a short course in bourbon history and production presented by local bourbon expert and founding member of the Bourbon Mafia, Brian Gelfo.
Especially if you are a fan of magic, this might be the most original night out available in the city, but anyone would enjoy the show and certainly the dinner doesn’t take a back seat either. Beginning with this show, minors are even invited. It added a special ambiance to see youngsters enjoying the act.
The show is an invitation-only affair and seating is limited. To get on the invitation list, click HERE. To read more about the Magic Bourbon Dinner and other Ray Smerlin events in the city, click HERE.
