B3 Bash – Bacon, Bourbon & Beer

The B3 Bash to support Kosair Charities was held Saturday, January 21st at the Mellwood Art Center. The B3 Bash is billed as a celebration of bacon, bourbon and beer and it did not disappoint. The bacon was the only thing in any kind of limited supply at an advertised 5000 pieces, but no one went without!

13 local chefs competed with their bacon creations and local bar tenders served up a plethora of drinks, West Sixth Brewery beer and old 502 wines. Tony and the Tan Lines provided the entertainment and the silent auction not only raised money for Kosair, but let some lucky bidders take home baskets of goodies.

The Event was packed with hundreds of people out to support one of Louisville’s favorite charities on an inordinately warm January evening.
